How much does PoolSide pool service cost?

For a clear pool up to 400 square feet, without an attached spa or salt system and with light debris, the current calculator estimates $145–$175 per month. This is an illustrative budget, not a guaranteed offer. Larger pools, spas, debris and salt-system care change the estimate; an in-person visit confirms the final scope and price.

What does weekly pool cleaning include?

PoolSide’s starting scope includes water testing and balancing, surface skimming, brushing and basket checks. Confirm vacuuming needs, chemical allowances and the exact visit schedule before starting. Initial cleanup, filter cleaning, specialty chemicals and repairs are separate unless included in your agreement.

What should I ask before hiring a pool service?

Ask who will service the pool, what tasks and chemicals are included, how missed visits are handled, how equipment problems are reported and which work costs extra. Compare the written scope with the monthly price. For equipment installation, confirm the contractor and applicable licensing before scheduling.

Does a saltwater pool still need a pool service?

A salt chlorine generator does not replace skimming, brushing, basket checks or water testing and balancing. Tell PoolSide the salt-system model and any controller messages. Cell inspection, cleaning requirements and replacement are assessed separately from routine care.

Can I request service if my pool is green?

Yes. Describe the algae, debris, pump operation and how long the pool has been green. The calculator shows a separate illustrative $150–$450 initial cleanup allowance. Actual treatment and cost require an assessment; routine monthly care may start after the initial cleanup.

Can PoolSide quote a pump, filter, heater or salt cell replacement?

The equipment calculator provides preliminary equipment and standard installation allowances for common replacements. It is not a final installation offer. Compatibility, access, permits, utility changes, contractor availability and licensing must be confirmed before work is scheduled.

How does the aerial pool-size estimate work?

When coverage is available, public USGS/USDA aerial imagery lets you outline the visible pool to estimate surface area. The imagery may be old, obscured or unavailable, so you can choose an approximate size instead. Imagery cannot validate water chemistry, depth, equipment condition or access.

Does the booking link confirm my appointment?

No. The form saves your preferred visit time and contact details as a request. PoolSide contacts you to confirm availability and the appointment. No payment or ongoing service commitment is required to submit the request.
